As Grand Master Ueshiro, our founder, said: "Anyone can do karate" and we welcome children (aged 7 and up) and adults, beginners as well as those who have had some prior martial arts training. We also have many families learning karate together (family discounts apply).
Karate teaches kids focus and discipline and provides adults with a way to stay fit -- and teaches all the ancient art of self defence.
Monthly rates are $30 per student, with family discounts and no contracts required. You will also need a uniform ($25) which we provide if needed, and school patch ($5).
The Cocoa Beach Ueshiro Shorin-Ryu Karate Dojo is a member of the worldwide Shorin-Ryu Karate USA organization founded in 1962 by Grand Master Ansei Ueshiro,a direct blood descendant of the Okinawan "Bushi" class of warriors.
