December 19, 2007: White Belts Testing

On Wednesday December 19th, about 30 students from the Cocoa Beach Ueshiro Shorin-Ryu Karate School showed up to participate in a green tip test for white belts.

As always arigato to Hanshi Scaglione for his ongoing leadership and support!

Arigato to black belts Sensei Tom DuJardin, Sensei Kurt Tezel, Sempai Connie Rutkowski, Sempai Joe Motro and Sempai Trevor Tezel for assisting with the test and judging.

Congratulations to the following thriteen students who tested and were promoted:

  • Green Stripes: Cassidy Karl, Haven Larson, Josalyn Larson, Mathew Bradford, Alexis Shagena

  • Ro-Kyu (one green tip): Dakotah Anderson, Damien Anderson, Nick Maya, Tom Goldcamp, Grace Kavanaugh

  • Go-Kyu (two green tips): Jeff Tomberlin, Nick Hawkins, Jeremiah Weller,

    Kudos to the following deshi who showed up to support those that tested and to participate in the workout and demos:

  • Go-Kyu: Marilyn Mariani, Kiani Mariani, Maleko Mariani Mark Mariani, Jordan Tomberlin & Helena Denemark
