Tonight, July 11th, about 20 students from the Cocoa Beach Ueshiro Shorin-Ryu Karate School showed up to participate in a special video class where two video cameras shot video of students performing kata, prearranged kumite and weapons.
The video will be sent to Kyoshi Seeger in New York who is putting together a special DVD celebrating the 45th anniversary of Shorin-Ryu Karate USA in Washington DC in August. Video clips form all dojo will eb included including clips from the video we shot tonight. Arigato to Sensei Tezel for the use of his video camera and for sending the DVD to Kyoshi Seeger in NY for us. Arigato to Linda Geiger-Denemark (Helena's mom) and Michael Adam's friend for shooting the video. We should have two sets of video available from the two cameras for students who wish to review their kata on video. I will let you know when we have this available.
