October 30, 2009: White Belt Testing

Cocoa Beach Ueshiro Shorin-Ryu Karate conducted a white belt testing tonight at our CBH&F location.

Arigato to black belts Sensei Tom DuJardin and Sempai Joe Motro for assisting with the test.

Kudos to all those not testing who showed up to support those testing: Dave Blackburn, Rene Blackburn, Michael Adams, Joshua Adams, Jeff Tomberlin; Jordan Tomberlin; Kelly Dunn.

Congratulations to the following deshi who tested and were promoted:

  • Green Stripes: Zachary Douglas; Michal Hall
  • Ro-Kyu: Kelli Adams; Stephanie Douglas; Aiden Adams
  • Go-Kyu: Ben Gaffney

    As always we thank Hanshi Scaglione for his ongoing leadership and example – currently not only head of Ueshiro Shorin-Ryu Karate USA, but also Shihan and active instructor at two karate schools in Brevard (Viera and Palm Bay) – arigato Hanshi!
