A recent survey conducted by SCRI International with ProductionHUB showed that video production is the primary job area employers are seeking when hiring online in the media and entertainment sector .
Just over six in ten employers (61.2%) report hiring video production staff in the past year. Digital media (47.2%) ranked second followed by post production (39.5%), film production (34.4%), and Pro audio / sound (29.9%) rounding out the top five. Art / graphics (22.9%), live event – entertainment (20.4%), broadcast TV (19. sales and marketing (14.0%) and live event – sports (8.9%) make up the top ten.
